May The Force Be With Me

I'm brining my 20 pound turkey tonight.  Never brined anything in my life.  Wish me luck!

  2. Brining is basically this: a bunch of spices and water that your turkey sits in for, like, 30 hours. Apparently the meat soaks up all these spices and gets extra juicy. All I know is that it was kind of a pain and a bit more labor intensive than I realized. Better be yummy.

  5. brine schmine. let the hubby fry it next year! all the cool kids are letting their hubbies fry turkeys next year. i'm just sayin'
